For almost a century, locals have been enjoying the healing powers of the natural steam baths in the community of Laugarvatn, next to the lake of the same name.

Only about 60 minutes drive from Reykjavík, nature has created unique surroundings at Laugarvatn Fontana, where healing geothermal heat emerges directly from the ground and the landscape is decorated with beautiful mountain ranges.

On the way back to Reykjavík we make a brief stop at beautiful Þingvellir National Park.



Remember to bring a swimsuit and a towel.

Swimsuits and towels can also be rented on the spot.
