The Icelandic horses are extremely pleasant to ride and extremely friendly. During this tour we will pass several farms, which give us an idea how the agriculture, and particularly the horse breeding has developed in the last decades. In Reykjadalur valley we will see some hot springs and take a relaxing bath in a warm stream.

On our way back to the farm Vellir, you can enjoy spectacular views over the waterfall Djúpagilsfoss and perhaps all the way down to the coastline, where we will see the Westman Islands on a clear day.

NOTE: This tour is for everyone, but participants should be in a good physical condition. If the weather does not allow us to go into the mountains, the tour will be changed.

Included

5 – 6 hours riding, return bus fare, helmet and a lunch box. Pick up at hotels and guesthouses is operated by Eldhestar and is between 08:20 and 08:45. NB: Remember to bring a swimsuit and a towel.
