Accommodation in Thorsmork
Merkursel
The Merkursel cabin has 2 floors. On the first floor there are 5 bunk
beds, accommodating up to 10 persons. One room has 1 bunk bed,
accommodating 2 persons. There are kitchen and cooking facilities with the necessary equipment and table ware for up to 35
persons. Bathroom facilities are also in the cabin. On the second
floor, the loft, there is space for 20 persons (mattresses are supplied).
Accommodation for up to 32 persons.
Vestri
Vestri cabin is divided into 3 bedrooms. Two of the rooms have 4 bunk
beds each, which accommodate 16 persons. In the remaining room, there
are four bunk beds, double size, accommodating from 8 to 16 persons. In
this room there are kitchen and cooking facilities with all the
necessary equipment and table wear for up to 35 persons. Bathroom
facilities are also in this cabin.
Accommodation for 24 – 32 persons.
Austri
Austri cabin is equipped with 13 double rooms. In this cabin, the traveller can choose between a sleeping bag accommodation and a made-up bed.
Bathroom facilities are in the cabin.
Accommodation for 26 persons.
Huts - Norðurgarður
In Husadalur there are 8 huts, each accommodating 4-5 persons. There are kitchen and cooking facilities in each hut, and all
necessary equipment and table ware for 6 persons and running cold water. One
room is in each hut, equipped with 2 bunk beds, one of which has a
double sized bed. The huts are furthermore equipped with a table and 6
chairs.
Accommodation for all the huts in total 32-40 persons.
The restaurant lounge - Dalsel
In Húsadalur there is a lounge, which can serve up to 120 persons at a
time. The traveller can purchase light meals or refreshments. For pre-booked groups, full board can be provided.
Service house - Aurasel
The service house is next to the restaurant lounge. This house is
divided into two parts. In one end of the house, there are kitchen and
cooking facilities for individuals and/or small groups, with the necessary
kitchen equipment available and table ware for up to 25-30 persons. In
the other end of the house there are rest rooms, showers and a sauna.
