A narrow but very powerful and picturesque waterfall dropping some 60 meters straight off the fell side. If you like you can walk behind it and through to the other side.
Skógafoss waterfall is one of the biggest waterfalls in Iceland with a width of 25 meters (82 ft.) Due to the amount of spray the waterfall consistently produces, a rainbow is very often visible on a sunny day
Landmannalaugar is a natural pearl hidden in the highlands. You will find diverse landscapes, hot and cold springs, multi-coloured mountains and amazing lavafields. It´s the ideal site for hikers as the possibilities are almost endless.
Skaftafell is renowned in Iceland for its agreeable climate and the sunny days in summer. Skaftafell National Park became a part of the larger Vatnajökull National Park in 2008. Within the park lies half of the largest ice cap in Europe, Vatnajökull.
A ghostly procession of luminous-blue icebergs drifts serenely through the 18-sq-km Jökulsárlón lagoon before floating out to sea.
