A two-day guided tour of the highlights of the Southwest, packed with inspiring history and unparalleled natural wonders.

Day 1 - A Golden Circle

Day one is an ode to the glorious foods and gorgeous natural wonders of the South of Iceland. The tour heads off from Reykjavik at 10 am and begins with the classic Golden Circle, famous for its superstar attractions. The first stop is the historical Thingvellir national park with its geological showstoppers followed by a stop at Friðheimar greenhouse for an introduction of their operations and a charming greenhouse-inspired lunch. The afternoon is spent at the amazing Gullfoss waterfall and Geysir geothermal area, with its erupting hot springs and bubbling ground. This day of wonders ends at Hotel Örk in the town of Hveragerði with a delicious three-course dinner and their comfortable accommodations.

Day 2 - The Magnificent Reykjanes Peninsula

Day two starts at 10 am, leaving the hotel for the Reykjanes peninsula, one of Iceland’s best-kept secret. The tour stops at the magical and mystical Strandarkirkja church, the unique Krýsuvík area and the gorgeous Hópsnes spit along with better-known attractions like the hot spring Gunnuhver, the Reykjanes lighthouse and the Bridge Between Continents before returning to the capital. The tour arrives back in Reykjavik between 4 and 5 pm.
