Set out from Húsavík on a fast RIB boat and explore a wider area of Skjálfandi Bay in search of whales. The speed and flexibility of the boat allow you to travel further offshore, where larger species are more often spotted, while still enjoying the scenic surroundings along the way.

While whale sightings can never be guaranteed, this tour is designed to maximise your chances of encountering some of the ocean’s largest animals. Along the journey, you’ll also stop by a nearby puffin island, where thousands of puffins gather during the nesting season (approximately April 15th to August 15th).
