The Blue Lagoon is located right between Keflavík Airport and Reykjavík City. By combining your Airport transfer with a Blue Lagoon visit, either when arriving to Iceland or on your way back to the airport, you save time and money. Not to mention, you arrive rejuvenated at your destination after your relaxing Blue Lagoon experience.

We especially recommend passengers on morning and noon flights to consider the Blue Lagoon combo packages we offer. With hotel check-ins often not starting until 15:00, it is ideal to use the free time to visit the Blue Lagoon. You can safely store your luggage at the Blue Lagoon while bathing.

To the Blue Lagoon from Keflavík Airport

Your Reykjavik Excursions bus will be waiting for you right outside the terminal building. You can walk directly to the bus with your pre-booked ticket. In case you have any questions, the Reykjavik Excursions service desk is located right next to the entrance to the arrivals section of the terminal.

Getting to the Blue Lagoon from Reykjavík

Buses leave from the BSÍ Bus Terminal in Reykjavík, and the drive to the Blue Lagoon takes about 45 minutes. If you book hotel pick-up, allow an extra 30 minutes: pick-up starts 30 minutes before departure from BSÍ, and you need to be ready and visible at your pick-up location.

If you book pick-up from Viking Hotel / Fjörukráin, you will be collected at the city bus stop across the street (on the side of the road facing the bay), approximately 15 minutes after the bus leaves BSÍ.

Arriving early at Keflavík Airport

Landing early and can't check in to your hotel until the afternoon? Our 07:30 departure from Keflavík Airport takes you straight to the Blue Lagoon, where you can leave your luggage in storage while you bathe. Afterwards, continue to Reykjavík on one of the return departures to BSÍ.

Going to the airport

Departures from the Blue Lagoon to Keflavík Airport leave at 12:00, 14:30 and 16:00. Choose one that leaves you plenty of time to check in for your flight, and book at least 24 hours in advance.
