Myself and my group of friends took 3 tours with this company over a week of being in Iceland, and were far superior to other companies we interacted with. The tours are informative, well planned with lunch and rest stops and truly show you the best places in Iceland to see! If you are here for a short stay then I would recommend the golden circle tour as it takes you through the main sights. My personal favourite was the wonders of snaefellsnes, the tour was intimate and you got to see the whole of the West peninsula of Iceland. I would highly recommend this tour! As a geography lover the geographical features seen in both this tour and the reykjanes tour was excellent. There are even USB ports in all bused to charge phones and cameras for the duration of the tour! Iceland really does boast amazing features and active landscapes and Rey-kjavik excursions is the best way to see it all! You will not be disappointed!
This is by us the best of all. Not for the places visited, (that are all wonderful on Iceland!); but I would like to mention this tour in particular, RE17 Wonders of Snaefellsnes, to have special mention to a guide of this tour (on January 17, 2019), that he was in all moment very profession-al and friendly.
We decided to take the tour The Wonders of Snæfellsnes on our short stopover in Iceland. Sverrir Ragnarsson was our our guide who did an excellent job helping us to understand what we were seeing as well as honestly discussing the pros and cons of living in Iceland. He runs a tight ship but this is because he wants to make sure you get to see as much as possible. We de-bated for a while as a family to take this tour over the golden circle tour and this one won be-cause we thought we might get to see things not on the list of places everyone else was going to see. We were right. We were pretty close to a glacier, passed dozens of smaller waterfalls, climbed a volcanic crater, laid on a black sand beach, visited fishing villages and saw seals bask-ing in the sun. It's an all day affair with a significant amount of driving. We had a wonderful day seeing a part of Iceland that not everyone chooses to see. We were also luck having a sunny day. Some advice: we brought food with us and had a nice picnic overlooking the ocean while most of the tour waited in line a a restaurant. We saved money by going to the grocery the night before as food is very expensive. We did have another stop for ice cream later too!
